LIFE EVENTS
Baptism
Through baptism we welcome people of all ages into the life of the Church. We encourage all who are interested in having their children baptised or seeking baptism for themselves to come to church and worship with us regularly. Baptisms normally take place on Sunday mornings during our 10:30 am Sung Mass, but not during Advent or Lent. The Church of England website has more information about baptism. If you would like to enquire about having a baptism at St Saviour's please contact our Parish Office.
Confirmation
As through baptism we become Christians, so through Confirmation we own these promises for ourselves and are strengthened by the Holy Spirit. Confirmation is preceded by a time of preparation during which we learn more about the Christian faith, and how we follow Jesus. The Church of England website has more information about Confirmation. If you would like to discuss being Confirmed please speak with a priest after Mass.
Weddings
St Saviour's is a wonderful church in which to begin your married life. Our beautiful building is set in the heart of St George's Square and we will endeavour to meet your requirements. Anyone wishing to be married at St Saviour's must satisfy certain criteria which are laid out here. To find out more please contact the Parish Office.
Funerals and Memorial Services
The Church of England website has more information about funerals here. We offer an excellent venue for memorial services and welcome the opportunity to provide a personal, moving tribute in memory of departed family and friends. Please contact the Parish Office if you have any queries.
